Lombard DOC, but with the muddy spirit of the Mississippi, Angelo "Leadbelly" Rossi is definitely one of the best Italian acoustic bluesmen around. He plays an essential and engaging blues, with the vigorous and dissonant sound of the guitar and the hoarse and hollow vocals that gush from the woofers like a jet of boiling water.
